WHAT makes YoU h-A-p-P-y?

I am so fascinated with learning... that is one thing that makes me happy. LEARNING. I love to learn new things, and even re-learn. The love for learning brings me to my journey of taking-up my Master Degree, engaging to another field like studying HRM and culinary arts, getting a crush course in Management and went training for English Proficiency... but guess what? I'm still not good at English!!! (hahaha!) I also love to research and read so many and anything that interest me. Maybe I love learning because I wasn't able to enjoy my primary and secondary years. Though I can say I was a good student then.

Another thing that makes me happy is SUNRISE. I love waking up early and see the sun rise. It makes me alive. Looking at sunrise I feel so blessed, I feel that life means moving on and there's always a brighter tomorrow to each and every trials we have. My parents used to bring us in a park before sunrise, and that made our family stronger.

I really love coffee. It's like a breather. Happy thoughts, serenity, recollections... while sipping a hot cup of coffee.I consider coffee as my best friend. I don't why I'm a coffee-addict. It really stimulates me. Any kind of coffee will do for me... 3 in one, 5 in one, black, with cream, without cream, latte, espresso americano, with chips, with jelly, frappe, hot, cold, tall, venti, grande, nescafe, cafe puro, kopiko, great taste, taster's choice, maxwell house, folgers, maxim, gloria jean's, coffee bean, UCC, starbucks, mc cafe, tindahan ni aling puring, seattle's best... anywhere, anyhow! as long it is coffee.

I also love pizza! yummy... I can't live without it! who am I going to thank for? Thomas Alva Edison or Raffaele Esposito? Great job guys!

Another thing that makes me happy and calm is writing... I know I have so many grammar slips but I love expressing myself. I always keep a journal... everything is in there. It made me realize how important anything and everything if you have a journal. My passion in writing awakens me to be a reader.... authors? I'm an avid fan of the following: Mitch Alboom, Danielle Steele, James Patterson, Paolo Coehlo, Jostein Gaarder, Nick Joaquin, Bob Ong, Lualhati Bautista, and Ricky Lee.

I'm a happy cook. I love cooking and trying different recipes... whether its Filipino, Italian or Pacham... I would be glad to do it... favorite recipe??? uhmm...

Cinnamon Vanilla French Toast

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
6 large eggs
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
butter
12 slices challah bread or french bread (1/4 - 1" thick)
6 large bananas, or sliced fresh strawberries and fresh blueberries
whipped cream (canned)

Directions:
1. Whisk together milk, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla until light and frothy.
2. Dip slices of bread in egg mixture and place on greased baking pan. Pour the mixture that is left after dipping the bread, over the slices on the pan.
3. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
4. In the morning, place butter in skillet. Place slices of bread in skillet and brown on each side until crispy.
5. Slice the bananas (or other fruit) and place on top of each slice of french toast, then garnish with whipped cream.

I'm happy with my job... who doesn't?

                          

I love my siblings... they are great! The thing of having them is that you are not ALONE! Money, shoulders, food, companion, advicer, detractor, critic... they are everything in your life...

Another thing that makes me happy is my parents... whew! 100% pure love is given... indeed!

What makes me happiest? My kids... my life, my love... anything for them... I remember when I was a child, I used to be a brat... now I know, there are gazillions of reasons why you give so much for your children... mother's intuition. I'm so lucky of having two beautiful and wonderful kiddos!
